Olga Zakharova

Originally from Moscow, Russia, Olga moved to the U.S. to study architecture and now holds a Bachelor in Architecture from Woodbury University as well as a post-professional Master of Architecture degree from Princeton University. Olga joined Szostak Design in the summer of 2022 and her current projects include a large development project in Raleigh and a kitchen addition to a historical house in Hillsborough. She is also currently pursuing her architectural license.

Previously, Olga worked at Richard Meier & Partners Architects in New York City and at Duda|Paine Architects in Durham, NC. Additionally, she has completed multiple shorter-term internships in established architecture firms across the country. Olga has always been passionate about the delicate process of crafting and fabricating architectural models and installations by hand, which inspired her to have a small fabrication shop in her home. Olga is also interested in photography and the process of making collages.
