Haifeng joined Szostak Design in November 2016. He previously worked as an architectural designer at Bizios Architect in Durham, as a summer intern at Perkins + Will, and as an architectural intern at Ningbo Architectural Design and Research Institute Co. Ltd in Ningbo, China.

At Szostak Design, Haifeng works closely with Principals on a range of project types: PK-12 schools, higher education, and residential. His notable experience includes the Tabor City and West Columbus PK-12 Schools (Columbus County, NC), and the Fayetteville State University Lyons Science Building Renovation and New Wellness Center (Fayetteville, NC).

Haifeng is a registered architect and SEED Accredited Professional. He holds a Master of Architecture from NC State University College of Design, a Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture from the Ningbo University of Technology in China, and a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design from Troy University in Alabama.

Haifeng is originally from Haiyan, Jiaxing, China, a beautiful seaside town located on the east coast of China, about an hour-and-a-half drive from Shanghai.
