Providing 7,800 sf. of research space and 5,400 sf. of office and conference spaces, this facility completes the 52,000 sf. Duke Free Electron Laser Laboratory. The additional space and equipment in the new building provides for the continued exploration of new applications of free electron lasers, including surgical, imaging, and clinical investigations. The building also houses IR, visible, and UV MFEL beamlines.
