For the Cerro Gordo PreK-8 School, our team designed a project that replaced 10 mobile classrooms with a new building that completed the west side of the campus.
This project accomplished the following objectives: creating a safe and useable outdoor space, closing a walking loop for the safe circulation of children and teachers, providing abundant and diffused daylight, assuring classrooms are flexible to meet the needs of future generations, and receiving the school maintenance staff’s praise for addressing all of their concerns.
