Maxwell Hodge joined Szostak Design in May of 2018. A North Carolina native, he holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from NC State’s College of Design, where he was a Kamphoefner Fellowship Honoree. Max has been a key designer in several residential and large renovation projects for Szostak Design including the Toms Residence, the Tenney Circle Residence, and the O’Hare residence. His role includes design, coordination, and documentation throughout all phases of a project. Working closely with our Szostak Build team, Max ensures the vision for design is seamless from start to finish.
Before joining Szostak Design, Maxwell interned for Walter Robbs Callahan & Pierce of Winston-Salem, where he worked on commercial and institutional project teams. He serves the architectural profession as an active associate member of the Triangle chapter of the American Institute of Architects, leading as co-chair for the Young Architects Forum in 2020. When Max isn’t working, he enjoys cycling on the American Tobacco Trail and hiking with his rescue dog, Renzo.
