Eli Simaan has worked in the design and construction industry since 2012. He joined Szostak Design as an architectural designer in 2017 after previously working at LS3P, and prior to that, working as a construction manager.
His design approach is informed by his diverse experience; he demonstrates strength in balancing aesthetics with constructibility to achieve the design intent. At Szostak Design, Eli has worked on the UNC-Chapel Hill Curtis Media Center and a custom residence in Chapel Hill, NC.
Eli’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in History from Appalachian State University, a master’s degree in renewable energy/technology from Appalachian State University, and a Master of Architecture from NC State University. During his time at NC State, Eli was recognized with the AIA Triangle Scholarship and the Noble-McDufffie Scholarship.
